Another heart moving encounter in the orphanage of Tahanang Mapagpala Center.
What we did during the visit? We presented the birth of Jesus (nativity play) or the Three Kings following the star.
After presenting the play, we gave personalized/ handmade Christmas cards to the Kids and then we dialogued with them.
This program aimed to show them the real meaning of Christmas—that it is NOT about receiving food or material things.
The play about the Three Kings who followed the star is a reminder that all they need is Christ. He’s the only hope in the midst of their situation. The greatest miracle is not being free of problems. Their greatest miracle is knowing Christ. And that was Christmas all about—receiving Jesus in our hearts.
On January 5, 2019, this coming Saturday, we will visit Manila Boyshome to present the same play.
