The Bolivian Idente Youth Camp of January 2017 has taken place in the monastic city of San Miguelito, a center run by the missionaries and located in the heart of Chiquitania, one of the Jesuit reductions.
It lasted a week and had the participation of 72 young people from the three delegations who have been pleasantly impressed by the intense coexistence and dynamics that the camp offered every day from seven in the morning until ten at night.
Activities such as:
I.- Open seminars that have touched the following topics: Integral Health, Right to Life, Dialogue with God and others; The Beauty of God, Nature and Society.
II.- The courses on: Art-therapy, dedicated to painting; first aid; Handles; Tai Chi; Cards; Hygiene; Carving of pencils, like typical skill of the Chiquitania; Poetry and music, also very traditional in the Chiquitania that annually celebrates a great festival of baroque music.
III.- Genetic examination in homogeneous groups of males and females, directed by teachers and teachers of the camp, with the support of assistant teachers.
IV.- The marches to the rural communities of San Javierito and San Juancito.
V.- The hymn of fire, Floral games, the Olympics, the peripatetismo, etc.
Each and every one of these activities of our summer 2017 has left us with a generalized impression of having discovered much more Christ, his Gospel and the greatest human values that give meaning and impulse to our life.
